My goal is to help you understand your body, recover from injury and pain and improve your health and fitness.
I believe when you are able to understand your body, it will give you the power to improve your fitness and help you become the best version of yourself.

Daniel Dang Nguyen PhysioTherapy
My goal is to help you get back to the things you love with less pain, limitations and concerns. I have found that by teaching people more about their body and injuries helps them feel strong and empowered.
I aim to help you become the best version of yourself so you can get more out of life.
Services I provide
With over 17 years of experience combined with my personal interests in fitness and nutrition I can offer a wide scope of services to better your health.
Whether you're a private client, under medicare, DVA, Worker's Compensation or other insurance claims, I can help.
Manual Therapy
I pride myself on my hands and my ability to feel areas of concern. I like to target problem areas and really work them out. I find that joint mobilizations and soft tissue manipulation provide great results and in conjunction with exercises and activity modification, a lot of the time problems can be resolved.
Clinical Pilates
Individual or classes of 2 is how I prefer to deliver clinical pilates. I find that the attention to form and execution of exercises is best in smaller numbers. Regardless, each client is doing their own tailored program that targets their issues and concerns.
Rehabilitation
Let's face it, some conditions require more than massage to get better. Having joint replacement surgery, reconstructions, fractures and even complicated injuries such as muscle tears need rehabilitation to fully recover. Surgery is not a one-stop-shop cure.
Exercise Programs
Feeling stuck and unsure on what to do with your gym membership? Feeling a bit stale with your gym routine or just wanting advice on your training? As an avid gym goer myself, I can help. I can develop complete programs and give advice on current ones. I can suggest alternative exercises that will work around your injuries and target your weaknesses. I'm more than happy to work with your personal trainer or exercise physiologist in tweaking programs to best rehab your injuries.
Dry Needling
For those stubborn muscles that don't want to release and those who prefer the benefits of needles, dry needling can target the deeper layers that sometimes my fingers and thumbs cannot. Dry needling is different to acupuncture and is not for everyone but if this modality is what you're after, I can provide it.
Ergonomics
Almost a science in itself, ergonomics is not as straight forward as you think. One change somewhere can have a knock-on effect elsewhere. In this day in age, ergonomics plays a huge part in how we live. We spend many hours a day at work and sometimes carry on these same repetitive actions back at home. It is important to have good working postures to avoid the development of poor habits and postures that lead to chronic musculoskeletal issues later in life. Having a professional set up and advice can avoid future injuries. As they say, sitting is the new smoking!
Corporate Services
Needing some physio intervention for your workplace? I have done many corporate services for small to medium firms. From efficient ergonomic assessments to hands on treatment, each corporate package is tailored to your needs and to your team.
Stretching
Stretching is sometimes the most boring task, but usually the most rewarding. Keeping your body conditioned means allowing your body to keep doing the things you love, for longer. If stretching is what you need, I can help you.
Nutrition Advice
Though technically not a dietician, I can give dietary advice to help you achieve your weight goals. Whether you're trying to lose, gain or maintain a healthy weight, try to eat healthier or simply wanting to understand nutritional values, I can point you out in the right direction.
A bit about myself (DDNPT)
Since graduating in 2003 in anatomical sciences and again in 2008 with a bachelor of physiotherapy, I have found my passion for helping people with their health and physical fitness.
Over the last 17 or so years, I have done a lot within the scope of physiotherapy practice. Though not every experience was for me, they taught me valuable life skills, not just professional ones.
I have done hospital rotations, worked in community, facilitated sporting teams (rugby union, water polo and hockey to name a few) as well as run my own clinic with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
It was through these experiences that I have found my passion for helping people understand their bodies. I've learned that not all injuries can be "fixed" but a permanent/chronic injury that is well managed is just as good.
I believe mixing strength, flexibility, stability and control with good nutrition and life habits, a lot of injuries and niggles can be prevented.
As we navigate our way through life, we should prioritise what it is that's important to us at that stage, and this should also apply to our bodies, our health and our fitness.
I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story.
Daniel Nguyen, Physiotherapist
What to expect
On your first session you'll find out more about your injury and have a clear direction for treatment. There will definitely be some treatment and you may have some exercises to do at home. There may also be a call for action such as seeing GPs for scan referrals etc but you'll walk away knowing more about your injury and how to manage it.
